For nearly four decades, the name VARA has been synonymous with environmental sensitivity; a bold statement for a land development company. Our authentic concern for ecologically careful development began with the vision of our founder, Dr. Tomas Vara.

Dr. Vara’s Pollution Control and Solvent Recovery firm “Vara International” began leading early E.P.A. compliance initiatives in the 1960’s and pursuing solutions for alternative energy resources in the early 1970’s. Still today, Dr. Vara’s Federal Process Patents hang on the wall of our company CEO Dominic Vara’s office as a daily reminder of the principals that Vara Development was founded upon.
